Deborah (Above, Left)
Being a second generation optician, eyewear has always been in my life. My father, who was also my teacher, has been dispensing for several years (he won't let me say how many). At the age of 4 (or so I'm told), after I had unsuccessfully tried to put them around my waist, I came down our hallway with my mother's eyeglasses in two pieces saying to her "is ok, daddy fix, daddy fix." Which of course, he did. I had my first pair of sunglasses at the age of 6 and have had a love affair with eyeglasses ever since. I now have 42 years in the industry, the last 12 for myself, and it still doesn't feel like I'm working.
Sheena (Above, Middle)
My girl Friday runs my store for me. She's been with me for 8 years, part time at first and now full time. Her work ethic is second to none. Being a past McDonald's manager, her slow is my high speed. With her natural eye for fashion, she has become one of the top frames consultants in the metro.
Catherine & Harry (Mom & Dad)
Without them I wouldn't have been able to do this. They worked with me in the beginning and still come in from time to time. Actually, Dad's usually around once a week and mom stops in from time to time.
